Matilda Mae skydive blog roundup

If you’ve read our News page, you’ll know that TwoTen recently contributed to the costs associated with a skydive in aid of The Lullaby Trust which was organised in the memory of a beautiful little girl, Matilda Mae. Of course you can read what we said on our news page, but it’s more interesting to find out what the jumpers themselves thought! Read their blog posts below:

Hayley the event organiser, features some great photos on her blog post (including one of our CEO Chris, with Peepus!) and shows off her bright new hair colour, which was dyed for the skydive.

Michelle had only one thing on her mind as she jumped out of the plane and shouted “Hi Tilda”

Rachel liked to think the sky diving team were being watched over and kept safe on the day of the dive

Susanne floated right through a rainbow

Julie found the dive quite a spiritual experience

Monika wasn’t able to do the dive herself but her amazing hubby stepped in and did it on her behalf.

Vicx guest posted on Matilda’s mummy Jennie’s blog before the dive

Lucy travelled to the dive site with both Jennie and Hayley and offered her support on the day

And of course Baby Tilda’s mummy Jennie told us what the dive was like from her point of view and what it meant to her to see those eight brave ladies and one man fall through the clouds in memory of her beautiful baby.

Of course you can still donate to Team Matilda Mae via their Just Giving page. You can also keep up to date with any fundraising activities or Messy Play for Matilda Mae, a little legacy of Matilda Mae, which encourages families to get messy and have fun together through sensory and messy play on Jennie’s blog.
